Seeking details on "Pitch shift" option

When making calls, I see an option for "Pitch shift". Presumably, this is used to change my voice, but when I tested it out, my voice had not changed.

Was hoping to get some details on this new feature.

It works, it just doesn't get heard by the recording system yet. We're still working on that. Maybe Norm can chime in, as he's the one who worked on it.

Geezer is correct, if you tried listening to one of your recorded calls in order to get an idea of what your voice sounds like to the called party, unfortunately you won't hear any change. I will take an additional look to see if there is any possible way to get call recordings to capture this effect, but my initial conclusion is that there wasn't, but we'll let you know if that changes of couese as the same thing happened with bots (which can now be recorded).

To get this feature working in general, all you have to do is make sure you select the desired pitch shift direction before your call actually starts, unfortunately this isn't something handled on user's end, so it can't be changed real time during an exisitng call.

I hope this clears up most of the confusion, but please reply back if you have any more questions.
